Great product that works fine, you can't do better for the money! Great for using a car charger for cell phones in the house without buying an a/c charger, saves you plenty.

My Garmin hasn't been able to hold a charge for a long time now so only place I could use it was hooked up in the car. With this device, I can use it inside the house now. This is a great device & would recommend it for anyone needing to use something that works off a cigarette lighter.

It does what it says but like some reviews say, it doesn't handle anything higher than 500 mA so it didn't work for the XM Onyx I tried plugging in. My only problem is; after a few uses, I can hear a weird noise coming from within the device. I have a slight fear that it may spark and cause a small fire (nothing huge, just simply burn the plastic around it). Let me add that the device I'm using is only requiring that I use 0.5 A which is exactly what I'm using. You get what you paid for so I'd recommend not plugging anything of too high value into it, just to be on the safe side, but that's just my opinion. Good luck in deciding.
