Good:
1. Stays connected into the 8525
2. Stays connected into the cigerette lighter in the vehicle
3. Does not seem to be effecting the overall life of the battery.
Bad:
1. The cord could be a little longer.

Ordered the charger for my myTouch phone with the charging receptacle that has one side that is squared. It is advertised as being MYBAT brand. What came to me is packaged with the name CyonGear, and the plug is the same one that is used with MOTOROLA RAZR V-3 phones.
According to Wikipedia, myTouch uses a proprietary connector called HTC ExtUSB (Ext[ended] USB). One side of the connector is squared. The plug on the MYBAT brand charger is this type. The plug on the CyonGear charger is NOT squared. It is angled on both sides of the plug.

Why would a charger be advertised as compatible with a myTouch and of MYBAT brand when something else is being sold / delivered?
UPDATE: The plug DOES fit the myTouch 3G even though the shape is trapezoidal. HOWEVER, the second plug shape, squared on one side, does NOT fit the RAZR and is NOT backward-compatible.
The MYBAT charger HAS the square-side plug and the ID HTC-Dash/8525. (The review above was written about a re-order which was a different brand - as noted above.) But after one year of use, it does not function although the LED light indicates it has power and the fuse is intact. The plug is too loose to make contact for charging. I have ordered a different model as a replacement.

Nothing special. A little skeptical why price is so low. So far it works and nothing bad. Price is nice. That's about it
