4Perfect for the price  Apr 23, 2007 By J. Levy "Euthyphro"
The case durable and study. the latch and hinge have relatively low profiles. I got the silver one but i would not recommend that color because it has a type of glittery sheen to it, not what i wanted, but maybe you do. The latch is snug and there isn't any worry of it coming loose easily. there is a plastic covering for the screen of the ipod which isn't perfectly clean out of the box, a few specks here and there, but it isn't too noticeable and it doesn't interfere with one's viewing pleasure. I have an 80 gb video ipod and the case fits it perfectly, I can't vouch for the extra insert that allows for the 30gb model to fit because i obviously didn't use it, but it seems adequate. the iterior of the case is a neoprene-like material. there is now way for the ipod to be scratched, the material is very snug and ideal for the situation. there is no extra space for the ipod to move around in, which is good. the openings allow for the connector cable with a little room left over, my third party ac charger doesn't fir though. this is because cheaper conecters are usually much bulkier than the official apple ones. the headphone hole o the case is a good size so larger connectors-like ones on high quality headphones fit fine. the hold switch also has a cut out which is a little big-but necessary. my other cases's hold switch slot is so tiny that it is rendered useless. this case doesn't have that problem. the seems where it comes together have a few paper thin gapes here and there but it isn't a problem. The click wheel is left exposed, which may put a few people off. it is vulnerable to scratches and what ot, but the fact that the only thing to really come i contact with it would be your thumb, it doesn't seem relevant. the case doesn't add much bulk at all. the weight is neglibable-due to the alluminum being fairly thin. the case is rigid nonetheless though, this is due to ti's shape, the angles and bends add great structural strenght to it. The only problem i had was the belt clip, the clip itself is detachable, but very low quality, iwouldn't bet my ipod's safety on it. the "nub" that the clip attaches to on the case is annoying and could be removed with a screw driver/ plers. and scissors, i did this because i don't endorse the belt clip aspect of the product and thusly forced it out of my life. This is the only bad point of the case. I would definately reccomend this to people that don't wear ipods on their belts (which is dorky). Overal- good product.

3Nice case but cheap clip.  Sep 22, 2009 By A. Klepper
I love the aluminum case. It looks great and protects my ipod and has holes in all the right places for cords, etc. (unlike previous belt clip cases I have had). However, I have had it for only two months and the plastic belt clip broke off, just from normal use. I was at the gym with my ipod clipped to my waistband, and suddenly it was on the floor, the plastic clip still attached to me. The plastic bit attaching the clip peg to the back of the case had snapped in two. I would be interested to learn if there is a way to get it repaired or replaced.

5Durable for a small price  Jun 18, 2009 By Avery Blackwood
I own a '120' GB Classic iPod and the case fits it perfectly. It's a solid case and I've dropped my iPod a few feet before a hard wood floors and outside on the pavement and the case keeps it free of damage. The clip fits perfectly on my belt and holds my iPod tight.

I definitely recommend this case to anyone who wants to keep their iPod free of damages.

4Solid ipod case  Jan 09, 2010 By David M. Johnson
This thing gets dropped all the time. Doesn't show the abuse and more importantly protects the iPod from destruction.

5Great Case!  Aug 12, 2009 By Christopher Cadiente "Calibornflip"
This case is perfect for the Ipod Classic...The aluminum keeps the Ipod well protected and scratch free...it's a must buy for all classic owners
