Better buy from Amazon for a premium price Dec 28, 2007
By SylverCloud Its a well known fact that Li-ion/polymer batteries start losing their capacity from the moment they are manufactured. Hence if the li-battery you bought is less efficient than your previous used one, odds are high that an old stock has been sold to you. Sony batteries and mobiles phones(to the exten i know) are very energy efficient. (My dad uses W810i which uses bst-37. For a moderate phone use he needs to charge the phone only twice a week. Same was the case with my T637 with BST-25). I need one for my phone now and I am yet to buy one of this battery and I think of going for one sold by Amazon at a premium price (I'll post my experiences with it after I buy and hence my 3-star rating is only nominal) . Amazon's price is usually the best in the market. Exceptions like this must be having a good reason.
UPDATE: The battery I have in my K530i is the same one but with 950mAh, whereas the specs of the one sold here show 900mAh. Little research showed that SE increased the capacity by 50mAh (likely sometime in June 2006). Look at the date imprinted on your battery which is in xxWyy. Mine is 07W32 which is 32nd week of 07. The pic here shows 06W04. Amazon must be alerted to see and update which one exactly are they selling.

Exceeded my expectations! Jul 27, 2009
By John P I read so many bad reviews for this about it being an old battery and dying super fast, so i didn't expect much when i bought this. However! to my pleasant surprise, it wasn't what was pictured at the top. At the top, you can see that it's made in 2004 because the "04" but i actually got a 2008 model (made in the 48th week of the year). Also, the picture is a 900 Amh, but the product I got was 950 Amh, just like my original battery. Not sure if my case is out of the ordinary, but I was very very happy and it works amazingly. i don't need to charge it for at least 3 days with normal use.

Bought this battery for my Sony Ericsson mobile phone. It looked new but it discharges even faster than the one that I am replacing.

Didn't work with TM506 Oct 07, 2009
By Kt This battery did not work with my Sony Erricson TM506 phone. I even brought it to the cell phone provider and they said the battery was a dud. It did not work with their TM506 in the store either.
The seller graciously took it back for a refund, although i may have lost out on the shipping fees.

Great Purchase Sep 28, 2009

This battery works great. Mine died and couldn't use my phone so ordered this and received it within 3 days. Doesn't hold a charge as long as my old one, but usually 3 to 5 day average, with minimum use.
