I used to buy these over-the-head telephone headsets at local stores. I won't buy expensive ones (approximately $20 or more) because I go through them too fast -- with daily use, the cords always get yanked around and eventually the headsets stop working. Ones that cost less are difficult to find. I recently wasted half a day drving around from store to store looking for them. That's when I gave up and decided to buy them online from now on. I found these, and I am very pleased with them. They work great, and they're an outstanding value. I will buy them here from now on as long as they remain cost-competitive.

I know you look like an order taker at McDonalds wearing this, and the wire sometimes tangles up in the car, but it works every time. Blackberry Curve users? Get the 2.5mm to 3.5 mm adapter at Verizon VHS25-35MM for 4 bucks. Enjoy!

Headset has excellent sound quality for both parties Jan 03, 2012

Even on a windy day, people never complain about being able to hear me with this headset on. I never have to hold the boom close or cup it. Likewise, with the earpiece over my right ear in the car, I can hear the person I'm speaking with very well, even on a noisy road.
The only thing is, it doesn't fit my head perfectly. It works just fine, but it seems to want to slide forward or backward over my hair sometimes. However, it doesn't fall off, and it's comfortable, so I can't complain. The value for the money is unbelievable, the sound quality is impressive. If this lasts one year, I'm happy to buy a new one every year at this price.

This is THE unit you want for using your cell phone hands-free while driving. It doesn't mind being knocked around, sits comfortably on your head without getting in the way while not in use, and in the case of my own cell phone, makes it a whole lot easier for the other person to hear me. On this last point, people often complain that they don't hear me when I talk to them on my cell phone, but with this unit they can even hear me whisper.
