I bought this to improve the accuracy/resolution of link presses on my G1, but it doesn't really work well. You have to press with the largish flat surface (and pretty hard at that) in order to get it to register, which defeats the purpose.

I have actually bought several of these because my phone has no where to store it and I keep losing/misplacing it. At the price it is and free shipping it was easier to just order a few at a time.

Switched carriers and got a Blackberry Storm instead of an iPhone. It worked on the latter but not on the Storm. Tend to misplace them but for $0.01, you can buy 100.
