Great for my Tracfone Aug 26, 2010
By rjv I purchased a Motorola Tracfone refurbished last year with a 1 year card for my son. Good deal, came with the card, the phone, and bonus minutes all for the price of the card. I think it was a Motorola 376W and this was the exact battery in the phone. Recently the phone would barely hold a charge longer than a day and that was just turned on with limited use. My son is not a text fanatic and uses the phone for his and our basic parent needs. With the new battery we are now back to about 3 days on time before we need to charge. Well worth the $5.00 instead of $40.00!

The best battery for my brand and model of phone. Jul 27, 2010
By Raven A. Wind Honestly, my headline isn't saying much, though-- Is it? I mean, it's not like there's a choice when it comes to mobile phone batteries. I have a Motorola phone, and it needed this specific battery. There's no comparable model from another company, unless I want to get a Hong Kong counterfeit or something. No, when it comes down to it, this was the only choice when it comes to powering my cell phone.
So reviewing it is basically one question: Does it work?
Why yes, it works. I put it in my phone, and my phone powered on. I charged my phone, and the battery filled with energy. I left my phone on, and the battery continued to provide power to my phone. At no point did it fail, or complain, or not fit. At no point did it provide any surprises. It didn't even explode, as cell phone batteries are sometimes rumored to do! It just sat there, in my phone, and provided electricity.
So yeah, it gets five stars. It does what it's meant to do. It's low-priced, and provides good value for the money. It doesn't explode. I don't think you can ask for more when buying a proprietary battery which only manufactured or marketed by one company for their own line of cell phones. I suppose the nicest thing I could say is that if I did have a choice of a different manufacturer's battery, I'd still probably get this one because it's first-party, and first-party electronics are generally more reliable than third-party electronics.
I will make one note, and that is this: When you buy a refurbished cell phone from AT&T, don't expect them to have put a new battery in it before shipping it to you. That's the reason I needed this item in the first place: My refurbished phone came to me nearly dead. I thank Motorola (and the seller) for providing me with the ability to keep my phone on for more than a day at a time, and still not causing it to explode.
Fine engineering, indeed.

Exact battery for Tracfone Motorola W260g Apr 05, 2010

The Motorola W260g from Tracfone was not listed for the BQ-50 battery but it is an exact match. After about two years of charging, my phone was holding its charge less than a day. Bought the BQ-50 dirt cheap and the phone is now keeping its charge at least three days. Could be longer but I don't wait beyond that to recharge. I'm not a heavy cell phone user so this was worth the replacement.

what a difference! Jan 15, 2011
By Rick I bought a Tracfone and the battery that came with it lost it charge within a day or so. I bought this battery (less than $5.00) and...What a difference! This battery holds a charge for a week. Highly recommend!

I bought it at The OEM SHOP Jan 18, 2011

I bought a new cell phone and thought the battery was a little on the weak side so I bought a spare battery from the oem shop and found out the spare battery is twice the battery of the original phone battery, they both look the same but I did notice the original battery say's cell origin korea. That's the guts of the battery. And the new replacment battery say's cell origin Japan, and that's why this battery is so much better than the original one that came with the phone.
