Very Temporary Fix. Sep 16, 2010
By Jennifer Rodriguez The original wall charger for my HTC Wing bit the dust after 2 1/2 years.
Thinking I'd probably be upgrading soon anyway, I didn't want to spend a lot of cash on a charger to get me by till then, and the price on this item was definitely right.
It shipped quickly and was adequately packaged.
However, it lasted me less than 1 1/2 months of moderate usage (leaving it plugged into one outlet and only attaching the phone when its charge was gone).
The sheathing detached from the wire where it meets the connector that plugs into the phone, and there is no longer any power going to the phone.
So I consider this yet another example of you-get-what-you-pay-for.
If you need something VERY temporary to get you by till you can get a better charger, this will serve the purpose.

By Doug Roberts A basic home charger that works great, beats going retail and that horrible mark up
