Bought 2, both broken Feb 13, 2009

It is a certainty: you get what you pay for. At least in this case. I bought 2 of these a couple of months ago and then 1 by 1 they each started to break. One of the prongs that goes in the wall lost its very undurable solder connection (there is a wire that is simply soldered onto the metal contact) from inside the main housing (i had to disassemble it to see this) and it was toast. I probably could have soldered it back on, but it probably costs more for the solder and electricity than to just buy a new one of these. This seems to happen if you simply unplug or plug it into the wall. I wasnt being unncecessarily tough on it either. The second one broke at the phone end of the plug. There is a metal plate that makes contact inside the phone to charge and this plate simply "stayed" in the phone one day instead of staying attached to the plug when i pulled it out. so then i had to get a pair of pliers to get it out of my phone, and the charger is now useless. I bought these thinking it would be convenient to have a charger at work, home and my girlfriends but now that they are both broken, i wonder if i should have just gotten the official one and been done. They are cheap as air to be sure (the shipping costs more) but what is the point if you have to keep buying them? i guess you could just buy like 30 of them to last a couple of years like disposable batteries, and just keep them in a cupboard. 3 stars for being cheaper than to make than the cost of the time and energy used to write this review, but crap in every other sense.

Great Charger So Far Sep 06, 2008
By R. Wright It works like it is supposed to. It is made in China and I was worried it wouldn't work or ruin my 300$ phone but works great. Fraction of the cost of factory LG unit. Great deal so far.

Can't beat the price Jul 18, 2008
By Roxxxie Since the Voyager does not hold a charge that well, I ordered this extra charger to keep at work. It fits and charges perfectly and I paid so much less here than I would have at a Verizon store.

LG Voyager VX10K Cell Phone Travel Charger Mar 01, 2008
By B. Mudry This particular charger works very well for the most part. The plug design is intelligent as it prevents you from bumping into other plugs in the outlet. Perhaps my only dislike is the male end that plugs into the phone. It seems a rather clumsy design and can be difficult to get into the phone. Whether this is the fault of the charger manufacturer or of LG for designing the female end in the phone I don't know. All in all a good product.
Wrong charger Jan 09, 2012
By Clifford Carabetta

I received a charger which did not fit my phone. The description I went by when ordering it did not specify what LG phones it worked on, so I assumed it would fit mine. I got the charger, it did not fit. They contacted me and I explained the problem and gave them the model # of the charger I needed. Unfortunately, they again sent me the wrong charger. Since, it is more expensive to return the chargers, I guess I will just forget about it.
