2Chinese Forgeries Abound!  Sep 20, 2007 By Robert A. Payne
The first thing I'll mention is the blatant lie in the product description. Unless Motorola has started packaging their batteries for "retail" in plain unmarked plastic bags, this item was most definitely NOT "Motorola Retail Packaged"

Also the battery life in both my and my wife's SLVR is now LESS than it has been with the stock BC50 battery, which is marked as a 700mah, compared to the 820 or so of the BC60.

This and the different font used on one of the warning on the new batteries themselves strongly leads me to believe that this Amazon reseller (webtreo sent us ours) is buying these from an illegal Chinese "cloner" and that Motorola has nothing to do with these batteries other than giving the forgers a target.

1new battery coming  Nov 01, 2010 By gquan
After sending a bad review about defective battery, company contacted me with in 30 min.and promised to send me a new battery. This is the good part. The bad part is the customer service rep, Hillary calls my house and badgers my wife about me withdrawing my review and demands my cell phone number, which she did not give. The next day Hillary calls my cell phone (don't know how she got my number)and ask me to change my review. I am on the road and 80 miles from home and my computer and told her I will change review when I get a chance. She was rude and condesending, so here I changed my review. Can't rate the item because I have not received the new battery

1Short battery life  Jul 23, 2011 By Miami mom "I.M."
I went through 2 batteries thinking that may have been a defective product but apparently battery life is short for all of them, only 48 hours without using the phone. When I asked the seller if that was the standard, his answer was that old phone do not work as good as new ones. Skip the headache and buy a new phones instead.

3Short charge life  Jan 31, 2011 By J. Bishop
Bought a Motorola BC60 Lithium-Ion Battery for what I thought was a good price, but now understand why it was so cheap. The battery doesn't hold a charge very well and is totally drained after around only 20 minutes talk time. I'm disappointed but learned a lesson, you get what you pay for.
