 not designed for the blackberry storm! Jan 05, 2009

The openings do not align with the button and plug-ins on the Storm. The case is not sturdy - when I bend over, the case pressure activates a random option on the phone. I can't use the headset with it. I can use the car charger. The case is too tight - I cannot easily remove the phone from its case to answer a call or use the phone. When I use the clip, the phone bangs against my hip. I'd send this to the trash can before giving it to anyone or recommending it.

- This item that is claimed for Blackberry Storm Leather Case is not the case for blackberry storm.
- Phone doesn't fit in there and the top does not close / align completely.
- It is so tight and very hard to put it in and pull it out.
- During removing the phone from the case, it usually activates some functions. Even if the phone is locked, it may unlock and activate a function or application.
- The case is so tight that it removed a part of the screen protector, now I need to go buy a screen protector.
- The case covers a lot of functional buttons and unable to use the headset when the phone is in the case.
-The edges of the case is so poorly done and several places on the edge missing the leather / plastics, exposing the white material under it.
- The picture shows a nice logo on the closing side and there is no logo.

I have ordered 2 more cases more expensive than this one. While the quality may be slightly different, but none could accommodate storm w/ Silicone skin. Since this leather case is softer than others it is more stretchable than other two cases as well. This is the only case that I was able to stuff it with card boards and stretch it. Now I can fit my BB storm with Silicone skin and this is the most important to me. Despite edges of the case could be done better, but it amazingly has been holding pretty good. I am changing my Review from 1 star or no star to 3.5 star for this product.
My Advise: If you get this case, stretch it first before putting your device in there.

Even though my I Phone fit perfectly in this case I was disappointed because the attached belt clip came off the back of the case.

I have used several similar holders previously. For the price this is exceptionally good. The clip can hang a bit at first but that adjusts with use. Overall this is a very good case to hold my phone.

I use my phone with the silicone skin and the phone fits right in. Not sure why you would need to strech the case. It is a little bit snug with silicone but not bad at all. When I put the phone it sometimes I press on the voice dial button, but that is me doing it and not the case.I work on computers and have to lay on the floor at times to connect the network cable and power cord. The phone has never once hit a button and started dialing or even hit the voice dialing button. I have not tried the other cases so can not comment on them. The only problem I have is the same problem I have with all cases, no matter how good the case is (this includes $50 cases for my PDA as well). The leather around the hook starts to wear out and tear after being pushed on and off on my belt. The hook has a very secure grip. The hook is wrapped in leather and does not dig into my sides like other cases in the past have had. No screw to come loose and drop my phone on my, unlike one expensive case (krussel) that left my PDA in a chair in a store as I walked away. This case is now $2 and with $3 shipping. I have now bought 3 more since my hook finally came off. I had to pull it off to be able to use the belt loops. So even though the hook is gone, it is still usable on my belt. No other case can do this that I know of.
