I bought this because I thought the battery for mine was dying. Turns out, after six years of use, the battery wasn't in bad condition at all. This new one lasts just as long. So, in essence, all I got was a backup battery. Which is good considering this phone likes to suck the juice out of them. A quick snap replacement and I'm back to power again.
All I can say is this, this battery works, it's excellent. But unless your old i607 isn't lasting more than a few hours, I'd check myself before purchasing.

My old battery doesn't last long eventhough it is fully charged so I thought to buy a new one. I ordered it through Amazon and the order was fulfilled by a different company. It says Brand new OEM but it lasted for few hours and now this battery is similar to my old one.
