 Poor return policy for out-of-box failure Feb 07, 2010

After fully charging this cellphone battery overnight, it powered my phone for about 4 hours. Further charges did not help. The battery was defective. Although I understand an occassional out-of-box failure, the return policy was irritating. The supplier wanted $3.00 plus shipping to return the defective merchandise. This makes sense for a normal product return, but not for an out-of-box failure.

I have given this battery 4 stars because choosing 5 stars according to the cursor prompt means "I love it." As fine as this replacement battery is, I just don't have it in my heart to profess my love for the LG OEM LGIP-330H. It's not the battery; it's me.
The battery does everything one would hope for. It fits in the phone, takes a charge and holds the charge for as long as a new battery should. Other reviewers who slagged their new LG OEM LGIP-330H may be suffering from a power-draining problem in the Chocolate 3. If you are looking to extend your time with your Chocolate 3, go ahead and buy.

Only 68 cents plus shipping and it fixed my cell phone. I was told by Verizon that my phone was shorted out and needed to be replaced. This battery did the trick. Received it within a couple of days.
