I was just wondering how this headset is being advertised as being compatible with the blackberry pearl 8100 and the curve 8300 when they both have different audio port sizes. The Blackberry Pearl carries a 2.5mm (which upon investigation is realised is what this headset carries), while the Blackberry Curve carries a 3.5mm headphone jack port. Is it equipped with an adapter (such not stated), even so, why would I buy a headset to use an adapter when 3.5mm headsets are available?

not much to say, exactly what I hoped they would be. A perfect replacement. Great price, too.
Just make sure you buy the correct size for your blackberry. My 8830 takes a smaller input than the Pearl or Curve.

I was amazed at the fidelity these inexpensive earphones produced when connected to my Blackberry 8830. Even the bass was impressive. The off-to-answer-calls worked well, too.

Although this is a wired earpiece, you cannot beat the functionality for the price. Some wireless bluetooth earpieces do not work well with some phones. This is the best alternative. If you can deal with the wires and you want a great hands free stereo earpiece at a great price, this is for you. Also, because it has an earpiece for both ears, I find that it works very well for loud vehicles like Jeep Wranglers and convertibles. It also allows you to listen to mp3s on your phone if you have that ability.

Not the Bose or Sony quality, but great for the price paid. Music sounds fine and talk quality is okay.
