these screen protectors work! Aug 07, 2008

I use my Palm Centro at home and at work (in an ER), with and without the stylus. (In a hurry or in cases where the easily-navigated central button won't work, I navigate the touch screen with a fingernail.)
These screen protectors come 3 to a package. They're a little bit smaller than the Centro screen (maybe 1/16-1/8 inch along one side only) but they stick, they don't come off, they wipe off easily (even with a Kleenex, or the edge of a shirt), and they take the wear and tear that would otherwise scratch or mar your touch screen.
I often hold my Centro up to my ear when talking on it, and skin oil, makeup or sunscreen just wipe right off this screen protector with Kleenex, a shirt-tail, or the hem of my scrubs. You don't even have to use the lint-free cleaning cloth that comes with this set (although it's nice and probably works best).
I keep my work schedule, appointments, and plans with friends in the Centro's calendar, all my phone contacts, Word documents, and medical/nursing reference software on my Centro--not to mention the occasional game of solitaire or web navigation for directions, phone numbers, or online research or shopping; and the 2G microSD card I can switch from my sport MP3 player into my Centro to listen to tunes. So my Centro gets a LOT of use. But I'm still on the first screen protector in the pack, two months after I first got my Centro and began using it countless times a day, daily.
I would definitely buy these screen protectors again. But I don't need to! I have the other two that came in the pack, which I can use if the current screen protector gets too scratched up. But it doesn't look like that will happen soon!

This item fit perfectly on my screen and protects it from fingerprints, oil, scratches, ect. I would recommend getting this product if you just bought the Palm Centro and want to keep it nice for a while!

The screen guards worked well on my palm centro in protecting my touch screen. I received several screen protectors for one low price.

The good thing about these is that they are cheap. The bad thing about this is unless you live in a dust-free environment or have a clean room in your house, it will almost be impossible to get these protectors on without getting dust trapped underneath. I bought 3 of these (3 in a pack) and had to throw away all three because of how difficult they are to put on without getting dust on it. Since one side of these protectors are sticky, any dust that gets on there is going to stay on. You can risk getting this dust out but I found that this usually results on just making it worse. Your Palm phone doesn't need extra protectors anyway, it already has one. Not worth the trouble in my opinion.

The Palm Centro user manual specifies that this phone doesn't need screen guards because the screen is made of special hardened material. I opted for them because it they are easier to clean of gunk and it just feels like more protection. These are good, easy to put on and take off, full operation of the touch screen. I'd recommend these.
