Not a bad product, given the realities of headsets Mar 16, 2006

My wife and I have had Treo 600's for a couple of years now, but have gone through many headsets in that time. We have struggled to find reliable headsets.
I happened upon this product a few months ago and have found them so far to be pretty good. Great sound quality (can hear and be heard), durable, and simple.
Earlier versions from various vendors (the Treo 600 OEM headset, another from Sanyo, an e-bay vendor, etc.) wore out (frayed wires, inexplicable shorts - could not hear or could not be heard suddenly), or were inaudible to begin with.
WISH FORS? - I'd love a reliable, retractable headset, or someday a Treo 700W with a reliable but affordable bluetooth headset.
One other comment: All cell phone users are handicapped by the fact that each cell phone manufacturer wants to make more money off accessories and consequently offers no universal devices. We *should* be able to buy a 2.5mm universal jack headset and it should work with any phone - but instead, Nokia, Palm One and everyone else comes up with their own propietary version.
Cheaply made Jan 09, 2009
By C. Rodriguez Price was good, Delivery Timely. That said: I ordered 2 and one of them was not working within a week,I could hear the caller, but the caller could not hear me. This product does not have the same quality build as the original. We are not talking blue tooth here, this is a wired device, it should work, period! I still have my original and works great.
worked for a while Apr 08, 2008

"living cheap"
The cord on the earbud was a little short, and the wire was pretty light weight. It worked great and sounded great for about 3 weeks, then the dredded short in the cord found this headset in the trash. I must admit I am hard on cords. The answer/end button is handy.

Not what I expected, I thought I would get better audio and mic quality, but what did I expected if it was so cheap... I got what I paid for.
If your not looking to spend to much money and don't care about the quality... this is for you!
