 Very Worthwhile Investment... Nov 04, 2009

This item wasn't supposed to be delivered until Nov. 5 - Nov. 10. I got home from work today on Nov. 3rd and the item had arrived! I have already began putting this charger to work and it is AWESOME.. I have had a few smart phones in the past and each one has given me problems with the charging port after a few months. I typically would exchange the phone for another but since my cell service provider no longer carries the Blackberry 8830 (World Edition), I was at a crossroads. I went from rubberbanding my charger into the port to get a constant charge to duct taping the charger into the port for the same result. After about two months, neither rubber bands nor duct tape would work for me so I began searching for a better solution and came across this charger. I LOVE IT! It's so nice to know that my battery is charging throughout the night without having to wake up and readjust duct tape or rubber bands to my phone. That had become such a hassle, but now, it's smooth sailing and I get to keep my original Blackberry 8830. I highly recommend this product to ANYONE. It is true that the charger light stays yellow at all times when the battery is in place but I've realized that I can get a full battery after about 1.5 hours of charging. I have ordered a second battery so that I can always be in touch because it kinda sucks being totally discounted for that 1.5 hours of externally charging the battery, but it's definitely worth it. I've made several purchases on amazon but this is by far one of the most WORTHWHILE INVESTMENTS! I am 100% satisfied.

I bought the Blackberry mini external charger for my Blackberry curve 8310. What really surprised me about it, is the additional USB charging plug. It works out great for hooking up my charge pod.

Keeps my second battery ready, instead of having to charge one and then the other in my Blackberry.
Also lets me charge my MP3 (or my phone) via the USB port (with applicable USB cable).
Only minor drawback is the position of the mini USB port(power-IN) and the standard USB (power-OUT to second item) are right next to each other, and my phones car charger (with the mini USB) is "L" shaped and interferes with the power-OUT port.

This product does exactly what was stated. My connection on my phone broke so I was not able to charge my cell phone. I'm not ready to purchase a new phone yet so I thought I would try this product. I am able to charge my blackberry phone using this external charger and I couldn't be happier. Very fast shipping too.

Works perfectly, plugs right into my existing charger. A must have for times when you are away from power for a long period of time, I always have a spare battery with me now and it's great.
