 BEWARE of this charger! Nov 12, 2009

Do NOT buy this charger! It is falsely advertised. I purchased this charger several weeks ago and after using it for only a week, it left my battery unable to function on its own for more than three hours. A store representative informed me that this charger is too powerful for Sidekicks and, therefore, ruins the battery. A cheap charger purchase left me having to buy an even more expensive new battery. According to Amazon, a good chunk of people viewing this page go on to buy a new Sidekick replacement battery; no surprise there! Pay a little more money and invest in a real car charger.

I purchased a new phone, and decided to buy adopter as the original phone came with the AC adapter only. I am using this replacement type, and it works great. Great buy with excellent product at a very competitive price..
