When I got this item, I thought that it would never survive a week in my hands. It felt a little flimsy and the only thing holding it on was the base of the "holster" and this little lip that slipped between the space between the back and front covers of the phone. Two months later, I'm finding it's the best accessory I've bought for the phone. You can clip the phone to your pocket with the clip part exposed, so that you can avoid exposing the camera to damage (though I'd suggest some screen protectors so that stuff bouncing around your pocket doesn't scratch it). Also, I've dropped my T809 dozens of times and the "holster" survived every one (knock on wood). It has come loose a couple of times, but this could be easily avoided by sticking a square of velcro with adhesive backing to the phone and "holster". I haven't done that yet, but am getting along fine without it anyway. All in all, an excellent value.
