If you can{t find the USB cable that came with your Sony Ericsson phone, you can buy this cable, it{s the exact same one that came with your phone when you purchased it

Simple with no strings Nov 15, 2007

This is a simple product. I use it with my W300i and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Plug it into your phone and then your USB port on your computer, a PC or laptop works fine, and treat your phone's memory as a mass storage device. It makes your phone look like a flash drive that you can drag and drop files to. Use it to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, themes, videos, or whatever else. The files don't even have to be usable to the phone itself to store them on it either.

Buy this cheap cord, download free mp3 files from the internet along with free pictures and transfer to your phone. Also, transfer any pictures/videos you take to your computer without a data plan from your provider.
Pays for itself after just a few new ring tones.

I have a Z710i, and the data cable works okay as a data cable. Connecting isn't as quick as I would like, but I don't think that's the cable's fault -- I'm fairly certain it's the phone's fault.
My beef with the data cable is that my phone will not charge through it. It seems like quite an oversight, for a USB cable to not incidentally charge the connected device if the user wants it to.

i needed to place images taken on my Sony Ericsson phone's camera onto my laptop, mostly for work but for my gf as well, but a USB Data Cable was not included in my phone package. after searching about, i found this item and ordered it. enough to say, i couldn't be more pleased. i use Windows, so no software is req'd. just plug it into your phone, the other end into an available USB port on your pc, and uploads are pretty much automatic. the only way it might be easier would be if someone else did it for you.
