If you take a closer look at the picture, the actual part number on the original battery and this one are the same (apart from the last letter and 0x digits, which apparently stand for country of origin or generation). It's exactly the same one otherwise and works great.

Received this battery within 5 business days of ordering it. It was an HTC OEM part, not a knock-off. Fully charged it in 3 hours and it's worked great ever since. Keeps its charge as long as my original battery. For the great price, service and performance this was an awesome deal!

I have had this phone in my Google G1 for four months, and it has made it keep a charge like it was new; I often go two days between charges if my call load is light. This does not behave like an old surplus battery that someone sells "new" but which is already halfway through its lifespan; it really seems to have been freshly manufactured!

i own a htc dream bought this battery.......lasted 3months and then refused to even be charged....at the same time of purchase i bought a 2200mAh Li-Ion Replacement Extended Battery for Google G1, T-Mobile G1, HTC Dream, HTC Dream 100 series battery that comes with a battery replacement back that one have continued to perform brilliantly!!!
