I dropped my phone in the toilet about a week after I received it. Yuck! I dried it out and it work fine. I took a lot of pics and video with it, not to mention that I downloaded ringtones. After about 3 months of working fine, I dropped my phone (not in the toilet this time LOL) and it could not get a network signal. At that time I needed to swap phones with a new one, but couldn't send my pics to my email. The store rep suggested that I buy a data cable there that cost $45 so that I could transfer to my computer! With technology the way it is, it would be a waste of time to buy a cable for that much to only transfer the stuff I had on my phone, when something new will be out in a month and the cable won't work with the new model. I stumbled upon the data cable on Amazon by mistake. Glad I did! I copped it for a fraction of what the store wanted, so if I never use it again then I still got my money's worth. The install was a little tricky but if you are determined to make it work then you will.

This cable works exactly like it should and is much less expensive than the Sony-branded cable. Installation and use are straightforward. Shipping was timely. The software is included on a CD, but it's available on the web anyway.

Doesn't work... It works as an antenna and that's about it.. I could carry around a cable for an antenna so I could listen to the radio.. Or not.. The only usable thing out of this purchase is the spare rubbers it came with... Don't bother buying this unless you want to buy the ear rubbers... the headphones work but sound like crap and are WAY too short.. You'd have to carry your ipod in your mouth to make these phones reach your ears... I hope this did a good job of telling you how terrible this buy is.. Look elsewhere... I'm happy I got the ear rubbers... for a higher price but.. You might not be...

Again, I had to go to Amazon and BargainCell to get a replacement data cable for my Sony Ericsson W300i after the dog chewed up the previous one. Excellent pricing and delivery. This time I got the OEM brand cable since the first one was an off-brand and did not fit into the phone as well and USB charging was sporatic. New data cable works perfectly.

My phone is listed as compatible but does not connect at all, used a friends cable and my phone works just fine cable is worthless.
