This "stylus" will be okay for entering emails and other virtual keyboard stuff, but that's it. You cannot use it for scrolling because you would apply so much pressure and friction that it would remove the rubber tip entirely. So, it cannot eliminate smudges like the description says, you'll still have to touch the screen. You also have to apply what I would consider an excessive amount of pressure in order to make the phone recognize the stylus. From what I've seen there are better iphone Stylus on the market. I was just going cheap. I've seen better ones listed on thinkgeek.

I have been frustrated with my ham-fisted attempts to use the touch screen on the iPhone so I was excited at the prospect of a stylus that would offer more accuracy. This is not that stylus.
The first impression is bad...it feels light and tinny, like a broken-off piece of a radio antenna. Then, when I tried to use it, I thought at first that it didn't work. Only after pressing EXTREMELY hard on the screen did the iPhone recognize the stylus. I've tried it a few times since and have been frustrated and nervous that I would break my phone because of the pressure I had to apply.
For now, I'm sticking to my fingers.

I enjoy having this this for my Iphone, it is very easy to manage and arrange the icons on the phone. It beats having to actually touch the icons yourself and leaving marks on the phone. I really enjoy having this item. I have recommended this item to my co-workers that have an Iphone.
